Redesign and prototype a new, more visually pleasing and user-friendly gallery and product page for the Kela maternity package.

My task was to design the appearance and usability of the new maternity package gallery and its product pages. I also created a functional user interface prototype based on my ideas.

The Kela.fi-team had already defined the project requirements before I joined. Their goal was to enable users to visualize the entire package's contents directly from the gallery page. Additionally, customers who receive maternity packs had expressed a desire for easy access to care and recycling instructions, as well as detailed product information. On the product pages, clarity and smooth navigation to the next product were key priorities.

I began by sketching my ideas using Axure RP 8, Kela's primary prototyping tool at the time. For inspiration, I referred to previous Kela maternity packaging galleries and online clothing stores, as they aligned closely with our needs. I designed prototypes for both desktop and mobile platforms.
